Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Gbet Casino is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorism financing and other financial crime. This Policy summarises the controls we apply.

1. Regulatory framework

We comply with the AML/CFT requirements of our licensing jurisdiction (Curaçao) and apply the standards set out in the EU 5th and 6th Anti-Money-Laundering Directives and FATF Recommendations.

2. Customer Due Diligence (KYC)

At onboarding and at trigger events (first withdrawal, deposit thresholds, source-of-wealth review) we collect and verify:

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement) issued within the last 3 months
  • Source of funds and source of wealth declarations for high-stake players
  • Politically Exposed Person (PEP) and sanctions screening

3. Transaction monitoring

All deposits, withdrawals and gameplay are monitored in real time by our risk engine. Patterns indicating structuring, smurfing, chip-dumping or unusual rapid withdrawals trigger enhanced review.

4. Restricted activities

  • Use of third-party payment methods
  • Multiple accounts per household
  • Depositing and withdrawing with minimal play ("washing")
  • Use of anonymising tools to obscure your location or identity

5. Reporting

We file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with the FIU of Curaçao when required. We will never tip-off the subject of a SAR.

6. MLRO

Our Money Laundering Reporting Officer can be contacted at mlro@gbet.casino.
